The Use of Memory

In a poem T.S. Eliot wrote, "These are the uses of memory: / For liberation - not less of love but expanding/ Of love beyond desire, and so liberation/ From the future well as the past."  What do you choose to remember and what do you choose to forget or let go?  Our memories recall our past, but they also impact the present and shape the future.  How we use memory can in fact liberate us from the future as well as the past.
The First Universalist Singers will perform the fourth movement from Jason Shelton's new UU Cantata based on the sources of our faith with the very talented Denver gospel singer Ken Parks.
