Mr. Mick Harrison will introduce us to and discuss the work of The Lawyers’ Committee for 9/11 Inquiry, which conducts investigations and public education relating to the tragic events of September 11, 2001 and promotes government accountability to ensure the investigation and prosecution of those responsible for 9/11. The organization’s overall mission is to develop and implement a detailed legal strategy to achieve transparency and accountability under the law, regarding the crimes of 9/11.

Mr. Harrison is currently working on several lawsuits related to 9/11 focused on obtaining information from the Government.   Mr. Harrison is Vice-Chair and Director of Litigation for the Committee. He is a public interest attorney, who earned his law degree from the University of the District of Columbia School of Law.  His national practice focuses on cases involving whistleblower protection, government accountability, corporate fraud and false claims, and dangers to public health or the environment.

The Committee believes the lawsuits have the potential to be as consequential as the Pentagon Papers in the 1970s, which led to the successful New York Times’ case before the United States Supreme Court and publication of the Pentagon Papers.   The Unitarian-Universalist Association’s Beacon Press later courageously published the Pentagon Papers in book format.  Former Sen. Mike Gravel, a UU and former intelligence officer, as a U.S. Senator courageously read the Pentagon Papers into the Congressional Record. He also supports a full investigation of 9/11.  Please use the following link to learn more:
