We have a new location! Our denominational neighbors at First Unitarian Society have offered use of their space for the duration of our remodeling.
This month, we will discuss the National Book Award-winning novel The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead. It’s a novel about a young woman’s daring escape from slavery that also challenges and reinvents the historical novel and the slave story. The book club meets monthly and discusses a different fiction or non-fiction title at each meeting, always connected to social justice matters. Newcomers are welcome.
