Help a local child feel ready for the first day of school.
Most months if the year, we collect non-perishable food items for Integrated Family & Community Services (IFCS), whom we have partnered with for over three decades. On August 13, we are asking all of our members and friends to bring one or more school supply. The families served by IFCS are struggling to stretch their dollars each week. Getting ready to return to school, they face the extra expense of buying paper, crayons, binders, calculators, and more. IFCS collects the basic school supplies, plus some fun extras, and puts together a backpack full of age appropriate supplies. The backpacks go a long way to helping kids feel confident and ready to walk into their classrooms on the first day of school. Your contribution will make an important difference.
Tip- Won’t be picking up extra school supplies? Grab a gift card from our table in the cafeteria. IFCS happily accepts gift cards!
