Racial Justice Film Series @ First Plymouth Church | Cherry Hills Village | Colorado | United States

Due to the holidays, we are meeting on a different day in December.  We will be watching and discussing the classic drama, “To Kill a Mockingbird,” based on the novel by Harper Lee.

Most months, we meet on the fourth Monday of each month to watch and discuss a film related to race, racism, and racial justice. This series is co-hosted by First Universalist Church of Denver and First Plymouth Congregational Church. All who are interested in respectful discussion of these issues are welcome to join in the discussion.

We have a variety of films planned for the 2017-2018 calendar:

Documentaries: Cracking the Codes (2014)I Am Not Your Negro (2016)

Biopic: Malcom X

Recent Dramas: Loving (2016)

Older Dramas: Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner and To Kill a Mockingbird– Come re-watch classic films and discuss how perspectives on race have, or haven’t changed.
