Worship

Worship at First Universalist is informed by the origin of the word. It comes from the Old English weorthscippen, meaning "to ascribe worth to something, to shape things of worth." This is the process that we undertake through our theme-based ministry.

We have a three-year cycle of themes, exploring one theme a month through worship and lifespan religious education program. A week before the beginning of the month, we publish an 8-page journal to launch the theme. To see a list of the themes, click  themes for the 2011-2012 year.

Each week, we have four different contemporary services:

Sunday mornings

Tuesdays evenings

Friday evenings

Virtual Ministry and Worship  We understand that you can't always make it in each week to join us in person. Or, maybe you desire to start a home practice. In either situation, connecting with us virtually is as easy as opting in to receive one, some, or all of our enewsletters.
