Our Whole Lives (OWL) Teacher Training

Who: Adults interested in becoming certified facilitators for Our Whole Lives workshops

What: A weekend-long training on facilitating Our Whole Lives for youth in grades 7-9 and 10-12

Where: First Universalist Church of Denver, 4101 E Hampden Ave, Denver, CO 80222.

WhenFriday 1/19/2018 through Sunday 1/21/2018. Training will be from 4-10 pm Friday night, 8 am to 10 pm on Saturday, and 8 am to 3 pm on Sunday.

Why: Because Our Whole Lives is an award-winning, comprehensive, values-based sexuality education curriculum, which helps individuals make informed and responsible decisions about their relationships, health, and behavior in the context of their faith. The OWL curriculum was created through a joint effort between the Unitarian Universalist Association and the United Church of Christ to meet a need for positive sexuality education materials for all ages.

Cost: $260 if registered on or before December 15th ($300 late registration December 16th or later).

HOW TO REGISTER: Registration is closed.

Registration was be capped at 20 participants and the class is full.

PLEASE NOTE: Registration fee includes six meals (Friday supper through Sunday lunch) and training costs; it does NOT include lodging or required textbooks.
